Galapagos Adventures

The Galapagos Islands became famous in 1859 when Charles Darwin published On the Origin of Species, his prominent work based on what he observed in the archipelago. In 1959, one hundred years later, the Galapagos were declared a National Park and since then they have become the most popular Ecuadorian destination among responsible travelers worldwide.

You will be surprised by what you find there. A very long isolation has given rise to animals and plants of unique characteristics native not only to the Galapagos, but restricted to single islands within the archipelago. The animals you come across are very tame and this allows incredible close encounters with Galapagos tortoises, land and marine iguanas, penguins, sea lions, boobies, albatrosses, tropicbirds, and many other species.

Not only is the wildlife amazing on land and air, there is also an incredible abundance of sea life. The Galapagos Marine Reserve, established in 1986, contains an incredible diversity of animals such as dolphins, sea turtles, sharks, reef fish, whale sharks, whales, as well as many species of brittle stars, sea stars, and sea cucumbers found only in the waters surrounding the Galapagos.

Our Galapagos Adventures have been designed for the responsible traveler and focus on the incredible natural history of the islands. We take you to a unique environment where incredible nature found nowhere else in the world is surrounded by spectacular volcanic landscapes.

We recommend several 4- to 14-day voyages through the Galapagos Islands on board a variety of stunning small to mid-sized motor yachts, sail boats and catamarans. Snorkeling is available in all our trips and we also offer diving cruises for licensed divers.
